Looking for a Good MLM/Network Marketing Company? Part 1

Do you know what sets apart an award-winning successful network marketing company that’s built to last from a legitimate-looking Ponzi/pyramid scheme that is a three to five-year company designed to implode? Yes – No? Well, let me clarify some things for you then.

We all know or are aware of the genuine success stories out there already: you know those successful people/couples walking across the stage receiving accolades, trophies, plaques and whatnot; but how do you recognize the signs of  companies that are scams?

Well aside from leaving hundreds if not thousands of scam-infected victims that talk and vomit about the dangers of our industry and how they got scammed, cheated and mistreated; here’s a clue.

All that really needs to happen in the first place is for marketing reps aka “distributors” to tell the real story. What I mean is let and show people the difference between legit and scammy-whammy, and why your company is a real BUSINESS and they should n’ t be afraid to join.

One obvious sign is “Recruiting is Everything”, which hides the fact it’s all about Money because you are getting paid to sponsor new people into the company (program). Hey! Wait a minute, all MLM/networking companies do that they thrive on new people joining their companies.

Yes that’s true, but these pseudo pyramid companies really really focus on this by primarily compensating people for bringing new people into the fold directly or indirectly. The company gets their distributors to keep filling up the seats in the airplane.

A real bona-fide mlm/networking business does promote sponsorship of course, however it specifically rewards representatives for the sales of products and services. A good reputable network marketing company sells its products on their own merit and thereby acquires repeat customers month after month.

If people wont buy your products unless connected to some income opportunity then joiner (business owner) beware.

Signs of a reputable MLM/Network Marketing Company:

  • Products or services stand on their own merit. Value is everything. How do they compare with other competing products in quality and price?
  • A large amount of customers. The higher the ratio/proportion of regular customers the better.
  • Repeat orders by customers – This shows VALUE.
  • A high average order size. This says customers/distributors are buying because of real value not just to qualify for a bonus level or promotion.
  • Large potential market for the products or services. This means these products or services are consumable. Another question – is the market declining or increasing?
  • Does the company have a “unique” or proprietary product which has bona-fide scientific research that stands behind it. How well substantiated they are?
  • The company has a special group of “preferred” or “direct” customers that do not sign up for the income /opportunity or business end of the plan, but buy their products directly from the company at a discount.
  • Reasonable product-return policies and adequate customer satisfaction for both distributors and customers.
  • And more …

This signs of checklist is by no way complete and for the most part is not all said and done in this one post, however based upon your comments and replies I intend to add to the list and give further explanations.

I think armed with this type of information you are in a place or have the posture (confidence) to talk to people who have gotten scammed, lost money, friends, time, family members to some type of pyramid scheme.

People are seriously looking for a better way to live, to make money, to enjoy their time and efforts and to leave a legacy for their families in this certainly troubled economic time. Opportunity of a lifetime – did you do your due diligence?

With best regards,

Nabih

Mentoring is Giving

When it comes to mentoring some people have to be held by the hand and that is okay. Why? Because each person is different. No, I’m not talking about an obsessive, egotistical, excessively needy person who feeds off attention for attention’s sake. Or that person who is the center of attention even if its negative attention. Sorry. I’m talking about that group of people who are between the losers and the winners. That’s the group that usually gets overlooked and cast aside because they are not there yet after all those years, failures and dollars spent on another “business opportunity.” These are the folks who need the most consideration because they just need a little more help and support to see it through. So what, we abandon them after we make money off of them, well that’s a theory. But it doesn’t serve you or them because whatever a person does good or bad does come back to its source for payment.

Life is give and take,  it also is  a business transaction. Be good to your customers and they will remember you and be loyal. Same with folks who join MLM companies, buy into business opportunities, systems, programs and the like. Be good to them and the majority will do the same. “We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give”, Winston Churchill said that and he wasn’t even a businessman. Mentoring is giving.

We’ve all heard of the radio station WIFM: that’s ‘what’s in it for me’. A lot of us solely focus on this point and never look back. So when we make it (by whatever means necessary for some folks), a majority keep this viewpoint and begin to treasure it because in their mind it leads to bigger and better things. “Hell, I made it why can’t you?” A lot of this is justification, but if they look back honestly they see invisible people who did help them along the way, but they forget. Sometimes when your mentor helps you or anybody else for that matter there is something in it for them and sometimes not, but that is not their motive.

Certain people just live a life of giving, it’s in their makeup. They’re not paupers or martyrs; they know the difference, but they also know the benefits of serving, helping and contributing to others. This is what truly makes these type of people great and be emulated. The world, our society, our families needs more of this – we need more of this especially in business because when you break it down business is all about relationships with money, profits, products, and/or services.

Mentoring benefits can boil down to about six things which also show the basis of giving; for one, it feels good, two – you give to get back, three – it builds loyalty and friendships between people, four – it increases your personal power, five – giving without recognition increases your personal power supernaturally, six – it will definitely improve and increase you spiritually. The key or I should say one of the keys in all of this is to not give what you want, but to give what is needed.

That’s practicing arrogance because you have the means (time, money, knowledge, etc. but you don’t really care deeply to empty yourself by being selfless to really give what the person needs. You might be one of those people who think if I give a lot or all I won’t have any left for myself. Or they’ll become richer than me, or they’ll know more than me, or, or ,or, (by the way this is ‘the either/or mentality’ and there isn’t enough to go around philosophy).

True giving means giving to those that need something and to those that don’t need something, because giving is giving. Mentoring is giving. Mentors, don’t think your prospects who become part of your company, program or system aren’t worthy enough of your time, make time. They put you where you are today. They are worthy of your gift. True, some are not, but that’s  decided on a case by case basis – fair enough?

Mentors, don’t believe helping your people is beneath you because you have given already – it never stops unless you die or quit. The Universe is always giving to you, it never takes a holiday.

Mentors, be more so you can give more. It won’t go wasted. Allowing access to you, giving some of your heart away, does increase your vulnerability but in the long run it increases your gifts and talents that nobody can take away.

Mentoring is giving. It’s a gift that keeps giving because that person you took the time to explain, show, walk through, walk through it again, prove it, categorized it, classified it, telephoned again, emailed again, telephoned, skyped, YouTube again – that person will one day become a mentor and through your example and the standard you have set will be a very good if not excellent mentor to a whole bunch of up and coming entrepreneurs. Once again, mentoring is giving.

Here’s a gift to you – do you know what the difference between a present and a gift is? They both mean something given to someone without expectation of receiving something in return – but when giving a present to somebody it usually means the person didn’t really ask for what you gave him. Whereas, a gift is exactly what the person wanted and asked for and you gave it to her. So become a gift-giver, it won’t hurt

What you’re looking for is what you’re looking with,
Yours to you, and for you until next time,

Decisions, Decisions, Decisions

Hello World,

No wonder people are desperate. Why? Because they’re looking to find themselves through things before finding themselves internally, personally, individually first. I would know because that’s me growing up in this materialistic world wanting everything I think I should have because I don’t have it.

Failures you learn from are good. I’ve learned through my failures and can be a beacon of help for those who are crawling through the muck and mire of opportunity this and opportunity that, program/system this or that. There’s so much out there – how do you choose.

Well, start from what you pleases your ideals, values not how much money you can make because believe me that will come later if you’re patient. Plus you need to look at the fact that if you lost Everything, what would you still have – what would you still be?  A money-chaser, a manager, a salesperson, a scientist, a police officer, a CEO of the company(supermom), a FBI agent, and the list goes on.

Do what makes you happy is what I passed on to the kids. It’s not the goal in life to be rich or wealthy, but to become blessedly happy. Finding your center, your purpose, your direction will lead to the other material things that money and striving can buy.  But, if you can’t find You, money, relationships, and things may come but they will not last because your foundation is off; it’s not solid – and you will still be unhappy.

So what are you offering Nabih? Something you can use to keep yourself financially prosperous while you find yourself or in some people’s cases continue to Re-define yourself; they are already prosperous and are just looking for something without all the hassles of generating money the old-fashion way.

Behold! Becoming successful at building a huge organization in MLM the non-traditional way through the Internet is what I’m getting into. So, if you want to know what I’m up to give me a holler – dontbehurting@gmail.com

More to come, ciao

Nabih
